BUT.... WHY WALK?

Amsterdam MOON01 HouseBoat is built as a river boat that could als sail the rough waters. It transported goods but no one knows what kind exacltly, as the boat was never registered in Holland. Probably it originates from Germany.

In the 70ties the boat was bought by a pop musician who wanted to build a music studio on board. But he had spent all his money on parties and dope and could never finish his plans.

After a long stay in several ship yards the boat was finally sold, but could not leave the shipyard as the yard was broke too and the boat conviscated by the governement. The new owners had to buy the boat out and after a total make over, the boat was brought to the waters in Amsterdam.
